Gooey Caramel Apple Slices

Continuing with the fall theme (and needing to get rid of some apples) I made caramel apple slices today.




Really don't have the patience to take cute food photos, but admire those who do!!



These are probably like a million calories each and super sweet, but good all the same.


To make:


1. Melt caramel in a pan with milk.
2. Slice apple.
3. Dip and coat apple slices in caramel.
4. Put coated apples on wax paper.
5. Sprinkle with toppings (we used almonds, walnuts, and Oreos).
6. Refrigerate for a good 30 minutes...the colder the better (I think).


I also added this chocolate-peanut butter mix that I wanted to try out....wouldn't do it again though because it was a little too sweet.


If you have the patience to make these prettier...would love to see photos...hahaha :)
